Is the Easy Paint Tool SAI free? If you know of any good free programs it would be awesome to have a link I would go look for some myself but I want to be extra careful to not get a virus or anything like that.
I have it. I got the trial, but it never ran out. I got it from the original site, I don't have the link, but if you google it, and come across a plain black site with the japanese and original version, it's probably it. o3o
Did you do a sketch and then go through and clean up all the lines to make it look a lot nicer? This is so incredibly amazing!... I wish I could draw like that... And how did you get her lines to look so smooth? Also, how do you do those shines? She's so shiny! Especially her eyes! How long did this take you to do? And did you use a Photoshop? If so, what kind? And which tablet do you use? I'm also very sorry for asking so many questions... But I greatly admire your work!!! Thank you for being amazing!
Actually, first I sketch the picture out, then I draw the lines on a new layer above the sketch. I guess it's like inking a sketch with a black marker. Just looks nicer than trying to make a sketch look cleaner. xD Thank you though. If you just keep practicing you'll be able to draw the way you want to. ;u; Also, I use a program called Easy Paint Tool SAI and those have THE smoothest lines I have ever used. I love that program! ;3; I can't remember how long this took me to do. On an average, I'm going to say it took at least 2 and a half hours. It was especially hard to determine considering that I was drawing this on and off, but that's my estimate. The shines I used with a layer set to Overlay. Makes everything shiny! Lastly, yes! I do use a tablet. It's a Wacom Intuos 3 and I love it! ^w^ And it's no problem at all. You're quite welcome and I hope I answered all of your questions.
Wow!The perspective is just so well-done and this is just so stunning and gorgeous!!! Have you ever considered making a tutorial....I would love to see a shading tutorial owo I've done gradient shading but this is just so beyond it....the execution...shading has always been my weak-point with digital art....gahhh ;w;
But of course! Oh that's fine,I'm sure you're just saying that...:P But wait,so you do have some tutorials...?Or no...?Link(s) please..? True,practice...but uhm...do you have any tips when practicing? I know I usually just practice from using reference images,real-life is the best teacher but okay so my only question is,how long did you take you to learn proper perspective?That's the hardest thing for me...do you use a point of perspective like was it just practice...I'm sorry if I confused you at all..I don't know where to start other than ref. images...does it just develop over time...the use of perspective...?Maybe I shouldn't make something sound harder than it is...off to find some perspective tutorials....xD
