Backstory: Alumina's father held a small company that made paper lanterns for their country's festivals. They were beautiful and were adored by everyone. After Alumina's father had passed away, she decided to take over his business in making paper lanterns. But her lanterns are not just used in festivals anymore. Alumina uses her lanterns in many way, including her orbs, which she lights up with her Kirin magic. With these, she uses them to help and guide lost ponies and spirits find their way back home.
